What is a Lumi List?

Lumi Lists are not just a static list of your Cards, you can make updates to the Card from the List itself. 

Update it here, and it updates everywhere. 

This is an example of an Episode Tracker with rows for each episode.

Creating a List 

Press this icon  on the left-hand side of your screen and "List".

Give your List a name and then hit "Add & Open".



You can add columns to your List by hitting this button top right.

Then selecting "Manage Columns".

From here you can add, delete and edit existing Columns. 

You can also choose whether you see your card image etc. 

Press the + To create a new Column. 

You can choose from a variety of Column Types:

Field - you can choose a field from your Cards so if you update the list, it also updates the Card. Note: you need to set up your fields and link them to the relevant card category in order to edit them from the List. See What is a Field? for more info.

Rich Text - text just for your list (not on the Card itself)

Currency - a dollar value (you can edit the currency)

Number - a numerical value

Date - a date selector

True / False - a checkbox 

Filedrop - if you have created a file request from this Card, the unique filedrop link will automatically populate here.

Email - the default email address on the linked Card

Phone - the default phone number on the linked Card

Hit Save & Close when done. 


Adding Cards

You can add Cards to a List from within the List or from a search in the Project Library.

Add a Card from within the List:

When you have made your List, you can add Cards by hitting the search/plus icon in the topand choose Cards from the side search.

You can search by typing any keywords, or you can filter the search by card category. Press the three dots and choose a card category from the dropdown menu.

Add Cards to a List from your Project Library:

You can add Cards in bulk to a List from a search in your Project Library. 

Hit the bookcase icon on the far left of your screen to access the Project Library. 

Select "Cards" and filter your search by card category, fields, or type a keyword.

When you have all the cards you wish to add, select onethen hit the double ticks that appear in the bulk actions toolbar to select all.

Choose the "Add to List" option and select your List from the dropdown menu and "Add Selection".


Clicking into Cards 

To click into your Card from a List, just right-click and "View Card" to access it.


Editing Fields from a List

You can edit fields directly from a List by double-clicking into the cell and editing. If it is a single or multiple-choice field, the options will be available for you to select. Date fields offer a date selector or the option to type the date DD/MM/YY. Text fields allow you to type directly into the text box.

Reordering your List 

To reorder columns on your List, just drag them from right to left by the heading, and then hit the save icon in the toolbar at the top right to save your changes.

To reorder rows on a List, just drag them up or down from the two lines on the far left of the row. Once you have moved the row, these changes are saved automatically.


Resizing Columns

To resize columns on your List, you can drag the side of a column heading from left to right to extend or minimise a specific column.

To resize all of your columns at once, you can press the two arrows pointing outwards to fill the width of the content, or the four arrows outwards to fit to your screen view.


Sorting your List 

To sort your List by the values in a column e.g. by name or by one of the fields, simply click the column heading to sort your view in the order of your choosing.


Adding & Removing Cards on a Row

You can add a Card to an empty row by right-clicking anywhere on the row and pressing "Add Card". All of the other row actions are also available here.

You can also change or remove a Card from a row by right-click anywhere on the row and remove the card by hitting "Remove Card".


Deleting & Duplicating Rows  

Right-click anywhere on a row that is linked to a Card to see the actions menu.

Here you can choose to duplicate or delete the row you have selected, plus all of the other row actions.


Accessing Lists

You can access all of your Lists by pressing the home button, and then Lists. All of the Lists in your Project will be here.


Exporting to Excel 

Easily share or work on your List outside of Lumi, with the new export to Excel function. 

Hit this button top right.

Then selecting "Export to Excel"


Adding Lists to Dashboard

You can make it easier for you and your team to access an important List by adding it to the Dashboard.

Note: you can only edit the Project Dashboard if you are an Account or Project Admin User.


Open your List and click the three dots in the top right corner and then select "Add to Dashboard."

Choose whether you'd like a heading, what font size you'd like etc and hit "Create". 

You'll then be able to find your List on your Project Dashboard.

You can also add a list of ALL your Lists to your Dashboard, from the Dashboard itself.

Click the settings wheel top right and press +

Then choose Lists, this will add a list of all your Lists!
