Library

The library is where all your cards, images and files for the project can be found. To access the library click the bookcase icon on the sidebar menu.

The library will open to the "cards" tab, where all cards for the project are listed.

Click the relevant tab to search Images, Files, Logs & Markers or Contacts.

Search Cards, Images or Files

You can search by typing a keyword in the search bar and hitting the enter key. Or, you can filter by expanding "Advanced Search" on the right-hand side.

Advanced Search allows you to filter items by category, last edited (Time), vault, or field value. You can also order by ascending or descending.

Click the "Clear" button when you want to remove all filters.

If this is a search you will use regularly, you can create a Saved Search. See below for more information on Saved Searches.

The sidebar search is a quick and useful tool for navigating Lumi. You can view or search for Cards, Column Boards, Grid Boards, Kanbans or Lists, or view all items in a particular Set.

Saved Searches

Saved searches are a way that you can save your most commonly used searches and access them quickly and easily on the sidebar or dashboard. This can save you lots of time and automate some of your workflows.

You can create a saved search for cards, documents or images.

To create a saved search, go to the library and filter your search by a keyword, by category, by a field, or all of the above.

In the following example, I've filtered to all applicants that are 21 years old.

Then click the purple arrow (on the top-right) to expand the toolbar.

Click "Save".

You have the option to keep the search just for you, to share it with everyone in your project, accessible via the sidebar search, or to add it to the dashboard.

Your saved searches will display on the sidebar menu

Clicking a saved search will open the filtered search in the Library.

If you save your search to the Dashboard, it will display as a list of all the cards, documents or images that meet the search parameters.

Click on an item (card, document or image) to open it, or click the search icon to open the search in the library.

Creating a "To Do" or Daily Planner

If you manage daily content (ie a Radio Show, a Daily TV Show, or a Daily Podcast), you could save a search with a date field set to "Today", allowing any Cards with today's date to automatically populate that search. Here is an example of Today, Tomorrow and Coming Up saved searches on the Dashboard of an example sports broadcasting show. They will auto-populate each day based on the date field on the card.

You can click into these cards straight from the dashboard.

To create a saved search from a date field, you need to set up the field and link it to your Card Category.

For more on adding fields to Card Categories, click here.

Next, you can go to the Library, filter your search by the field e.g. TX Date, then select your date range.

Save the search by hitting the "Save" icon in the top-right corner and add it to the Dashboard.

Bulk Actions

You can update multiple cards at the same time from the library, using the bulk actions menu. This allows you to edit field values, add cards to a list or board, export cards, add items to a set, and a variety of other things.

  1. Search or filter to find the cards you want.
  2. Select the checkboxes next to the relevant cards. The bulk actions menu will open on the right.

 3. For more detail about what bulk actions are available, click the << arrow at the bottom of the menu to expand it.

Click the relevant bulk action.
