Lumi integrates with Zoom, allowing you to schedule meetings with individuals or teams directly from a Lumi card. Any recordings of the meeting will be uploaded to the card once they are available.
Zoom integration is a feature that must first be enabled. Contact support@lumi.media to enable.
Connect your Zoom account to Lumi
Once Zoom integration has been enabled, you will need to connect your Zoom account to your Lumi profile.
Click your avatar on the bottom-left and select "Profile" from the user menu.
"My Profile" page will open.
Click the Zoom "Connect" button.
You will be redirected to Zoom to sign in and authorise the integration.
Sign in with your existing Zoom account. If you don't already have a Zoom account, you can create one by clicking "Sign Up Free" on the top right.
A one-time passcode will be sent to the email associated with your Zoom account.
Enter your one-time passcode and click "Verify".
Tick "Allow this app to use my shared access permissions".
Click "Allow".
You will see the message "Zoom is now connected to your Lumi profile!".
You can close the Zoom page.
Schedule a Zoom Meeting
Open the card of the person you want to schedule a meeting with. If you want to schedule a meeting with a team (ie group casting) open the team captain's card.
In order to schedule a Zoom meeting the person's email address must be entered on the card.
Click "Zoom" on the toolbar at the top-right of the card.
The "Schedule Meeting" dialog will open.
Topic: Defaults as "Meeting with [card name]". You can edit the topic.
Start: Select start date and time.
Duration: Enter duration of meeting.
Attendees: This will auto-populate with the card's default email address. If it is a team captain's card, all team member emails will auto-populate. You can remove individuals by clicking the "x" next to their email if required.
Click "Schedule".
The following confirmation will display.
All attendees will be sent an email with a meeting request containing the meeting link.
Join the Meeting
The meeting creator will receive an email with the Zoom meeting link. They will need to forward this link to the invitees as currently, the invitees do not receive an email.
The meeting will display in the Zoom account for the meeting creator and the invitees.
Disconnect your Zoom account from Lumi
If you want to disconnect your Zoom account from Lumi, follow these steps.
Click your avatar on the bottom left and select "Profile" from the user menu.
"My Profile" page will open.
Click "Disconnect".
This will unlink your Zoom profile id from the system.
Contact support@lumi.media to have the Zoom feature enabled.
